About Alice:

Hello! My name is Alice. I’m glad that you’re here!

My journey to becoming a therapist has been largely driven by my experience as a second-generation Taiwanese American. Having grown up in an area with many other East Asian immigrant families, my peers and I often felt a cultural disconnect between our home lives and the society around us. Living in a multicultural environment offers many joys and advantages, but it can also bring its own set of challenges. On top of that, navigating relational conflicts can be more difficult if you are coming from a place where emotional and mental wellbeing are often overlooked. Through our work together, I strive to help you explore the different parts of who you are while supporting your personal growth and healing in a way that feels right for you.

In my practice, it is my priority to provide an empathetic and non-judgmental space for you to identify and wrestle with your struggles, and to define your own therapeutic goals. I aim to create an environment where you can feel safe exploring how your upbringing, culture, experiences, and traumas have impacted your emotions and behaviors. Together, we can start to unlearn patterns that may have led you to feel stuck and create a more empowered and fulfilling future.

Taking charge of your mental health and healing requires strength and vulnerability, and your willingness to be here shows immense courage. To schedule an appointment, please reach out to our Care Coordinator team. I look forward to working with you!
