About Alisa:
Life can be challenging sometimes. The good news is that you don’t have to do it all alone. When I was 18 years old and did not have any guidance or support, a social worker provided support to me and helped me find resources. When I felt depressed with the life circumstances, she helped me find hope and meaning in my life and work towards my life goals. My experience has helped me discover a passion in being there for others and serving those in need. I understand it is not easy to navigate life challenges and seek help, and it takes courage and patience to work towards your goals one step at a time.
Having lived in various countries including Shan State, Myanmar, Thailand, and the United States, I've personally experienced challenges that come with adjusting to new environments. Through my experience, I am committed to serving other immigrants and people from diverse backgrounds. If you are experiencing some life stressors or challenges, I'm here to provide guidance and support. I will provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can process your experiences, explore your strengths, develop new skills, and build your self-esteem.
To request for an appointment with me, please contact our Care Coordinator team, and they will assist you with next steps. I understand that seeking support and sharing your personal story take courage, and I am genuinely honored to serve as your therapist or case manager in your journey.
