About Claire:

Hi! My name is Claire. I’m happy that you’re here.

I was raised in Los Angeles but have resided in four different countries; through these experiences, I’ve become fascinated by the dynamic interplay between culture and mental health. My upbringing as a Jewish woman has inspired me to adopt a multicultural approach to therapy. With a passion for incorporating humor and mindfulness into my therapeutic approach, I strive to create a comfortable and supportive environment for every client. In my free time, I enjoy running, yoga, meditation, and painting.

Since age 15, I knew I wanted to be a therapist. After struggling with my own mental health concerns, I became fascinated by the mind’s ability to warp our perception. I decided that I wanted to help others understand themselves and develop skills and tools to live better lives. Drawing from my diverse experiences, which include working at crisis hotlines, active listening services, a ketamine mental health clinic, and a therapy center dedicated to immigrants, I've cultivated a unique perspective on mental health. I have experience assisting people who have depression, anxiety, and substance use issues.

I am a Professional Clinical Counselor (PCC) Intern, currently pursuing my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University. In my practice, I believe in creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Through mindfulness techniques, I encourage clients to cultivate present-moment awareness and develop a deeper understanding of their inner selves. By integrating solution-focused therapy, I assist individuals in setting realistic goals and utilizing their strengths to foster a positive outlook on their road to wellness.

I'm excited to embark on this collaborative journey with you and navigate life's challenges with compassion, insight, and at times, a touch of humor. If you’re interested in working with me, please reach out to our Care Coordinator team to schedule an appointment. Asking for help is the first step towards positive change.
