About Jayne:
Hi, I’m Jayne. I’m so glad you are here.
Looking into counseling and therapy is a brave first step toward wellness—and the fact that you’re here means you’ve already taken it. That alone is a big part of the journey. Whether you're feeling stuck, lost, overwhelmed, or simply need someone to talk to— to find clarity, comfort, or ways to move forward—this is a space where you can begin that process and start moving toward your goals.
I’m committed to creating a safe and open space where you can share freely. I value the collaboration between us as we work together to understand your needs and goals, and take meaningful steps toward achieving them. I strive to understand the whole person—considering the cultural, relational, emotional, mental, situational, and historical factors that shape who you are. As a bilingual and bicultural Korean-American, I also bring an awareness of the unique experiences that can come from navigating multiple cultures. I bring empathy, curiosity, collaboration, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story. Together, we’ll explore patterns that may no longer be serving you and imagine new ways forward.
My professional and personal background spans a diverse range of experiences. I’ve worked in corporate environments in both South Korea and the U.S., as well as in agency and nonprofit settings, which has given me insight into various workplace cultures, burnout, stress, and multicultural experiences. I’ve also lived in Seoul, New York, London, and Los Angeles, experiences that have deepened my understanding of different cultures and ways of life. I hold a Film & Television degree from NYU, a graduate degree in Global Media & Communications from USC and LSE, and I’m currently pursuing a Master of Social Work at Columbia University. I am motivated by a passion to help others manage their emotions, anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma, and to navigate life’s challenges while living more fully.
Thank you for taking this important first step. If anything you’ve read resonates with you, I’d be honored to connect and support you on your journey.
