About Lauren:

Hello, my name is Lauren! I am grateful that we’ve crossed paths. I am from San Diego, California. I come from a family of Laotian immigrants, am in the second generation to attend college in my family, and see myself as a life-long learner. I have completed my bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in Public Administration and am currently working towards my graduate degree in Marital and Family Therapy. I have worked with diverse clients from historically marginalized communities in the school, office, and virtual settings. I have also received my Sexual Assault Counselor certification from the YWCA Greater Los Angeles. In my spare time, I enjoy trying new dessert shops and taking sunset walks at the beach.

I have chosen to become a therapist because I believe that folks from all walks of life deserve to live every day with integrity and dignity. I seek to provide a warm, encouraging space for you to become more connected with your strengths, practice new skills, and make decisions that will help you improve your overall health and well-being. Seeking help can feel intimidating. I’m glad you’ve made it here and encourage you to take the steps needed to prioritize yourself.
