About Raymie:

Hi! My name is Raymie. I’m glad you are here.

I am from Honolulu, HI. I come from a Japanese and Chinese family and have lived in primarily Japanese and Chinese communities. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Political Science. I am currently working on my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. In my free time, I like to exercise, try new food, and watch Korean dramas.

I have chosen to pursue a career as a therapist because I firmly believe in the inherent value and worth of every individual, regardless of their background. Coming from an upbringing where mental health challenges were prevalent, I value the importance of treating every person with compassion and empathy. I have also struggled with stress and anxiety from life’s challenges and changes.

My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your strengths, learn new coping strategies, and make choices that promote your overall well-being. I am dedicated to providing a nurturing space where you can receive support in cultivating personal growth, gaining insight, and enhancing your quality of life.

Empathy plays a significant role in my therapeutic approach. I strive to get to know each of my clients and their unique journey. Therapy is not a quick fix; it's a transformative journey that requires a genuine commitment to personal growth. Making the decision to pursue therapy might not be easy, but you won't have to face it alone.

If you would be interested in working with me, please reach out to our Care Coordinator team for assistance with next steps. I would be honored to accompany you in your journey and look forward to meeting you!
