About Yujue:

Hello! My name is Yujue Wang. I am so glad that this message found you.

If you feel sad and lonely, have too many thoughts in your mind to relax, struggle with interpersonal relationships, or have other issues that prevent you from enjoying your life, I am here to support you in finding more fulfillment in your life. My approach is client-centered. Together, we will explore and develop a care plan based on your goals, experiences, needs, and preferences. I seek to create a safe space for you to talk, listen to you open-heartedly and non-judgmentally, and help you process your emotions, thoughts, and experiences. I believe that everyone is different and that everyone has the right and potential to live life fully and wholeheartedly. I value the therapeutic relationship between me and you.

I've walked a decade-long journey as a Chinese international student in the U.S., giving me firsthand insight into the many challenges Asian Americans and immigrants face. My heart resonates deeply with the experiences of women, non-binary, and queer individuals. I'm also ardently passionate about gender equality and combatting violence, with a dedicated focus on supporting survivors of sexual and domestic abuse. Lastly, I love art and have engaged in visual arts and dance for many years. In moments of anxiety or sadness, I turn to coloring, music, and dance as emotional anchors. As we work together, I'd be happy to introduce avenues like collage-making or poetry, empowering you to express and navigate your feelings and stories upon request.

My choice to pursue a career in clinical social work stems from my personal journey. During a challenging phase in college, I received support from my therapist who was a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). The positive experience inspired me to pursue a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at the University of Southern California, where I am currently studying. As my therapist was for me, I will be caring, patient, and supportive for you so that you can feel heard and understood during our therapy sessions.

If you are interested in working with me to receive individual psychotherapy or case management, please contact our Care Coordinator team. You are the driver in your journey, and I would feel honored to accompany you in your healing journey and support your growth.
